About the Role
We're looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect with deep Health Cloud expertise to own solution design across multiple concurrent healthcare and life sciences engagements. You'll translate business needs into optimal Salesforce solutions, work hands-on with development teams to make sure they're built as designed, and serve as our go-to SME for Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, and the Salesforce industry product stack.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end solution architecture for Health Cloud implementations — data model design (FHIR-aligned objects, Care Plans, Provider/Payer models), integration architecture with EHR/EMR systems, and HIPAA-compliant security design.
- Work closely with developers day to day: review designs and code, unblock technical problems, and ensure what gets built matches the architecture — catching drift early, not at UAT.
- Support multiple concurrent projects, balancing priorities and shifting context between engagements without dropping the ball on any of them.
- Translate business needs into the optimal Salesforce solution — and spot opportunities to simplify and improve client processes along the way, not just replicate them on the platform.
- Serve as our expert and SME on Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, and the underlying Salesforce industry stack (OmniStudio and related products), advising both clients and internal teams.
- Lead architecture conversations with client executives and clinical stakeholders; present trade-offs clearly and defend design decisions.
- Support pre-sales: estimation, proposals, and proof-of-concept builds.
What You'll Bring
Required
- 7+ years of Salesforce implementation experience, including 3+ years in architect-level roles.
- 2+ full-lifecycle Health Cloud implementations, including data model design and EHR integration.
- Strong command of the Health Cloud data model, FHIR/HL7 standards, and HIPAA compliance as it applies to Salesforce architecture.
- Working expertise in Life Sciences Cloud and OmniStudio — enough depth to credibly advise clients and internal teams as an SME.
- Experience translating business requirements into solution designs, including recommending process improvements rather than rebuilding processes as-is.
- Proven experience designing large-scale integrations (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven patterns).
- A track record of leading and mentoring developers — you can read their code, challenge their designs, and earn their respect.
- Salesforce Health Cloud certification (Health Cloud Accredited Professional).
- Demonstrated ability to manage your own time across multiple simultaneous projects and stakeholders.
- Strong communication with both engineers and C-level/clinical stakeholders.
Preferred
- Salesforce Life Sciences Consultant certification.
- Multiple architect-level Salesforce certifications.
- Payer, provider, MedTech, or pharma domain experience.
- Exposure to Data Cloud and other Salesforce industry products.
Salary
The pay range for this position is $120,000 – $180,000 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
