Salesforce Headless 360 lets your field team use Salesforce through an AI assistant like Claude instead of clicking through it in a browser. In this video, Michael Vukovich, Wise Wolves CEO, walks through five ways life sciences and medtech teams can use it: your own homepage, voice debriefs, tailored debrief skills, filtering out sensitive details and better visit prep.

Key Takeaways

  • Anyone can now build their own Salesforce homepage in Claude. No admin ticket required.
  • Debrief visits by voice from your phone, right after you walk out.
  • Set up skills so what you say gets logged in the right place in Salesforce.
  • Tell the AI what to leave out, like personal and health details about the people you meet.
  • Walk into every visit with recent history, outside data and your manager's talking points.

Your reps already know the drill: visit, drive, type notes into Salesforce, repeat. Headless 360 changes the "type notes into Salesforce" part. Your team asks an AI assistant, and it does the work in Salesforce for them.

Michael Vukovich, Wise Wolves CEO, recorded a short walkthrough of the five things he'd set up first if you're in healthcare or life sciences. Here's the video and a quick summary of each.

1. Build Your Own Homepage

Until now, a custom Salesforce homepage in Health Cloud or Life Sciences Cloud was an admin's job. Admins assigned homepages by profile, role or app, and you got what you got.

Now anyone can build their own. Open Claude, describe what you want to see each morning and it builds your own page, connected to Salesforce. Michael calls it your landing dashboard: your morning brief, built around your goals.

How to set it up: Build the page in Claude and connect it to Salesforce through Salesforce's connection for AI assistants.

2. Debrief Visits by Voice

Before, debriefing a visit meant opening the Salesforce mobile app and typing your notes. Now you open the Claude mobile app, or another AI assistant's app, and just talk.

Michael's take: voice is a much more natural way to debrief how a meeting went. For reps on the go, it's how you capture the whole picture of what was discussed instead of the three lines you had energy to type in the parking lot.

How to set it up: Voice mode works out of the box, so choose your AI vendor carefully.

3. Tailor Your Debrief Skills

Skills are instructions you set up in Claude, ChatGPT or another AI assistant so that what you say after a visit lands in the right place:

  • Mention an adverse event a patient had with your therapy or drug, and it's logged as an adverse event for medical affairs to pick up.
  • Mention a next step, like something to send next week, and it becomes a task.
  • Mention a presentation you showed on site, and it's logged against that visit.

The goal: critical information doesn't slip through the cracks.

4. Filter Out What Doesn't Belong

What you leave out matters as much as what you log. Set up your debrief skills so they don't record personal or health information about the people you meet. Michael's examples:

  • "Doctor was sick today." Don't log it.
  • "Doctor has cancer." Don't log it.
  • "Doctor is of a certain religious affiliation." Don't log it in Salesforce or anywhere else.

Filter out what shouldn't go in, and reinforce where everything else should go. Our glossary has more on PHI and HIPAA.

5. Prepare Reps Before Every Visit

Michael says this one could even move up the list. Before a rep walks into an appointment, give them what they need to be successful. That's usually three things:

  1. Recent history. What have we talked to this person, or these people, about recently? A complete summary of what's already in Salesforce.
  2. Outside signals. Data from third-party sources, IQVIA for example, that helps the rep move the conversation forward. Ideally that data connects to the AI assistant too.
  3. Manager guidance. Managers set talking points in Salesforce, Life Sciences Cloud for example, like "talk about X, Y and Z with this doctor." The rep walks in with an agenda.

The Bottom Line

Headless 360 gives your field team a faster way into Salesforce. Start with these five: a homepage of their own, voice debriefs, skills that log the right things, filters that keep out the wrong things and real prep before every visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Salesforce Headless 360?

Headless 360 lets your team use Salesforce without logging into it in a browser. They ask an AI assistant like Claude, and it does the work in Salesforce with the same access they already have. It's in open beta now.

Can Reps Really Build Their Own Salesforce Homepage?

Yes. Michael shows a homepage built in Claude and connected to Salesforce. Until now, custom homepages in Health Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud were assigned by an admin based on profile, role or app.
